Carbon footprint update
Hi @everyone !
As you know, this drop will be carbon-positive. This means we will plant enough trees to remove more carbon from the atmosphere than what this drop will emit.
We will plant more than 33k trees to offset our carbon footprint for a total cost of $33,330 USD.

We've identified a bug that caused suggested transaction fees on Metamask to sometimes be super high during minting (like $1500).
A fix has been deployed, and now the gas fees for minting should be less than $10 (at the current gas price). For the tech people here, this was caused by a bad gas estimate.

Yesterday we've implemented #💳ใปwallet-connect-old for our current holders to get their @OG MEE6โข roles. We would like to clarify on some questions we've seen around the community with regards to the OG role.
- The @OG MEE6โข role is given to the members who verify their MEE6 NFT, regardless of them minting it or buying it from Opensea.
- The difference between the holders and the OGs will be made once the public sale goes live. Once the public sale goes live, the #💳ใปwallet-connect-old will assign a holder role rather than an OG role.
- We are preparing some juicy benefits for our OGs, and we will roll them out starting tomorrow.
- So if you buy your MEE6 NFT from Opensea right now, you can become an OG and start enjoying the benefits.

We want to give you a quick update on the pending developments that all of you are waiting for, mainly the airdropping of the MEE6 Pass NFT, the rollout of the first crypto plugin, and the conversion of your pre-reveal token to an avatar.
The team is paying extra attention to detail in all aspects of the 3 developments mentioned above.
We want to make sure that everything is taken into account when rolling out the first crypto plugin in order to ensure that only holders of the MEE6 Pass NFT have access to it.
In terms of the airdropping of the MEE6 Pass NFT and the conversion of the Pre-Reveal Token into an avatar, there are important decisions that the team must take regarding the rollout of the utilities and the implications it will have on the secondary markets for both the Pass and the Avatar. Since many of you provided excellent feedback about this matter, we want to assure you that everything is taken into account, and for this, we are collecting all your thoughts and ideas for the MEE6 team to consider.

With this new utility, you can now set alerts for your (or any) NFT collection and a message will be posted on the channel of your choice whenever a NFT has been sold or listed for sale!
- Select the NFT collection you want to track.
- Select the channel where to post the alerts.
- Choose if you want to receive alerts for Sales and/or Listing

We are happy to share that starting today; every MEE6 Genesis Pass Holder has the MEE6 PRO turned on!
We thank you for your patience while we built the automation for granting MEE6 PRO for Genesis Pass Holders (existing and future) and minters. It is live now and has given existing Genesis Pass holders a MEE6 PRO.
How does it work?
As long as you hold a MEE6 Genesis Pass, you can access the MEE6 PRO benefits. However, if you decide to transfer your Genesis Pass, the new Pass holder will get MEE6 PRO instead, which will be removed from your account.
There is an exception for Minters, who will keep their MEE6 PRO for life, regardless of whether they still hold the Genesis Pass.
To ensure you receive your MEE6 PRO, you need to connect your wallet at least once on the MEE6 dashboard.

With the new Gas Tracker plugin, you can enable the /gas command to get details about the current gas price and estimate the gas price for some of the main transactions.
Why is this plugin available for everyone, not just for the MEE6 Genesis Pass holders? Because this will increase the visibility of our WEB3 features. Thus we expect to see increased demand for WEB3 features & increase the value of the Genesis Pass in the long term.
